"We went to Aguri twice because we needed to try their multiple menus in order to really capture the experience. Auguri is owned by a Venezuelan-Turkish native who fell in love with the lust and vibrancy of Italy. His restaurant captures the essence of fine dining and elegance one would be accustom to in a high-end Italian restaurant. The kitchen is comprised of three menus; an Italian menu, a Chinese menu, and a sushi menu. We started both our evenings with drinks. Enough could not be said about both the flavor and experience. The staff bring a miniature bar table and bring you into the process of making your drink. We can’t choose one over the other, so if you’re with a few people order one of everything and share!!!! If you had to pick one, get the Lychee Gin. Our first night we ate Italian. We started with an artichoke appetizer which was exquisite! We also ordered a ceviche which was beautifully plated. In fact everything was plated beautifully both nights. For our entree, we ordered the imported tomahawk which was massive. It came with four sides. We weren’t too thrilled with the sides or the flavor, but this might be a cultural thing. Our second night we ate from the bamboo menu. If you can only eat here once, this Chinese menu was the winner by far! For starters we ate a salmon carpaccio and grilled peppers. We then got spoiled with Chicken Dynamite. This is the best thing we ate. The perfect amount of crispiness and tenderness, glazed with a light creamy mustard sauce with a hint of spicy. It was perfect. If that wasn’t enough food we tried four different entrees from the Bamboo Menu. The Low Mein was something you’d see out of any Thai or Chinese kitchen, but these flavors. Yaaasss! After fighting our way through the sweet and sour chicken and the orange chicken, we were left with a bowl of rice. Didn’t look anything special. Wasn’t as photogenic as the other dishes. DON’T JUDGE A BOOK!! This dish completely took us by surprise. The rice was so soft, the coconut flavor was perfect, not over powering and not too sweet. I don’t think we’ve had a better rice dish before. We ended the night with a desert that could melt your heart. The chocolate lava cake paired with a scoop of ice cream battered in a crumbs. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. All in all, Aguri Kosher Trattoria is going to be one of, if not the best dining experience you’ll have in Polanco. The service is impeccable, the attention to detail is unprecedented, and the bamboo menu is delicious. Even if you’re just looking for a place to have cocktails, this is the best you’ll find in town. It’s obvious how much detail the owner has put into every aspect of his restaurant and his passion exudes in the delivery of your dining experience. I’d even go ahead and say that this Kosher restaurant gave the best service than any other restaurant I’ve ever eaten at."

"I did NOT expect such a pleasure experience! The chef definitely understands to flavor profiles. Insane depths of flavor in every dish. Very well executed. And the service: the server Serrano served me like I'm at a Michelin star restaurant. 20 / 10 experience"

"The food was delicious. The salmon chef's special was outstanding. A flavor bomb. The orange peel chicken was tasty too. The artichoke soup was lemony and fresh tasting. Our server Senor Rivera was excellent with attention to detail and helped us order since the menu was only in Spanish. Highly recommend. Pricey but worth it"

"Best dining experience I have had in a long, long time. This has to be one of the best spots to eat in Mexico. The service of the staff was excellent, and the food was out of this world. We ordered for 5 people to share and had an excellent meal. The beef carpaccio with olive oil is 10/10, as well as the artichokes and the crispy chicken."

"Legitimately this was the most beautiful meal I have shared with my husband in nearly 5 years of date nights. Without a doubt better than any meal we have gotten in Las vegas, New York or LA. It is a super cute little courtyard, outdoor seating with heat lamps and a large screen TV. The menu is everything you could ever want and every dish we ordered was absolutely excellent. Rafa was our sever and he was lovely, spoke English well and was patient with us explaining everything. We ordered a crazy selection because we couldn't choose just one thing, the chicken teriyaki sushi was so delicious, the carciofi alla Romana was the most beautifully balanced artichoke dish, chicken fried rice, delicious, Mongolian beef was beautifully tender and wonderful, the lettuce wraps were sensational. Definitely get a cocktail, they are fresh and well made. Service was attentive and despite ordering crazy amounts, prices were basically the same as what we would have spend in the US for 2 entrées, 2 cocktails and a shared appetizer, and this again was the best kosher meal we have eaten and such a nice dining experience. Do not leave Mexico City without stopping by. We will absolutely be back our next visit. (Price spent is in Pesos not USD)"
